Welcome to Middle College High School at Nashville State Community College
MNPS Middle College High School at Nashville State Community College is an “Option High School” for tenth through twelfth grade students who want to earn college credit hours while attending high school. Housed within the NSCC campus, we offer dual enrollment--the opportunity to earn part or all of an Associate's Degree, plus a Tennessee high school diploma--all at the same time! Interested?
We are recruiting interested students for our program with the following:
- If you haven't taken it already, you will eventually need a 19 on the ACT or pass the COMPASS test at Nashville State to qualify to take college classes.
- You need to be mature enough to navigate successfully on an open campus (we don't have bells or hall passes). In other words, you need to be able to be successful with minimal adult supervision.
- You need to be willing to work hard in an academically rigorous setting.
Sound like we're just for you? Apply on line. Remember, too, that you must submit two recommendations (guidance counselor, teachers, principal, employer) and an official copy of your transcript before we can set up an interview.
